Winning Streak Now At Five For Women's Tennis With 9-0 Victory At Waynesburg

Freshman Emily Kahoun earned a #3 doubles victory (teaming with Alexis Hill) as Malone defeated Waynesburg University (PA) 9-0 on Tuesday.

The Malone University women's tennis team extended its winning streak to five games, the longest string in recent years for the program, on Tuesday with a 9-0 victory at Waynesburg University (PA).  The win, which came in straight sets for all Pioneer players, was the fourth 9-0 triumph during that five-game winning stretch.

With the win, Malone improved to 6-7 overall (remaining at 1-6 in GLIAC play) while Waynesburg fell to 2-7 overall.

The convincing victory saw two Pioneers post perfect 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles competition while one other Malone student-athlete collected one 6-0 set victory among her two sets.  Asia Harris and Kaley Kahoun each earned their team-best seventh singles victory of the season.
