The Malone University football team has announced its list of 25 players who make up the initial recruiting class for the Pioneers' 2012 season.  Among this group, seven are transfers to the Malone program.  Malone is in the second year of candidacy of a three-year transition to NCAA Division II. 

Malone, which recently joined the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference, will play a GLIAC schedule this fall.  The Pioneers will open the 2012 campaign on Saturday, September 8th by hosting Saginaw Valley State University (MI).  Other Malone home games include Wayne State (MI) on Sept. 22, Tiffin on Sept. 29, Ashland on Oct. 20 and Notre Dame (OH) on Oct. 27.
