The Malone University men's soccer team is hosting Lake Erie College for their home opener on Tuesday, September 10 at 4 pm. It is the team's first game on the new
Jack Hazen Field and the first game played on campus for men's soccer since early September 2017. The game will also be the opening match of Great Midwest Athletic Conference play for both the Pioneers and Storm.
"It is going to be exciting to play at home," said
Patrick Alvarez. "It's my sophomore so last year we didn't get to play on campus. It'll be cool to play on our new grass field and in front of our fans!"
Â
The field is located inside the track on the north side of campus, beside Penn, Gurney and Barclay Halls. Parking is free and located behind the grandstands on the north side of the field.
