The Malone University football team will join more than 500 universities on Saturday to support the Coach To Cure M.D. program.  During Saturday's 1:00 p.m. home game against Tiffin University, the Pioneer coaching staff will wear patches on their sleeves to raise awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Coach To Cure MD is a partnership between the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), a professional organization for over 10,000 college football coaches and staff, and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), the largest national charity devoted exclusively to Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The goals of the program are to create awareness of the disorder and raise money to fund research for a cure.

To donate $5, text CURE to 90999.
