Christian Graves of the Malone University men's basketball team was named the GLIAC South Division "Player of the Week" after averaging 19.5 points per game in two contests last week.
The sophomore sharp-shooter fell one point shy of his career high of 27 points in a 104-64 drubbing of Ohio Christian University, connecting on seven of his 10 attempts from behind the arc. The seven three balls tied his career high of seven in a game against Ohio Dominican University last season.
The reigning GLIAC "Freshman of the Year" followed up the impressive display in the season opener with a 13 point outing in a 100-90 loss to the University of Indianapolis. Graves went 3-for-6 from deep in the game to make him 10 for 16 (62.5%) from three-point range on the season.
