Malone University volleyball player Haley Kool earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week honors after having an impressive two matches this past weekend against Northwood University (MI) Friday and Lake Superior State University (MI) Saturday.

Kool had two huge matches this week as she paced the team in kills per set with 2.10, adding 21 total kills and posting a .375 attack percentage. She also posted a .570 hitting percentage in the win over LSSU on Saturday. Kool's weekly hit percentage in two, five-set road wins was .370 while she also added five blocks.

The Pioneers, winners of six of their last seven conference matches, will next compete at the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament held in Aurora, Illinois next weekend, Friday and Saturday, October 17-18.
