Freshman
Hannah Campbell has earned her first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Honor.
Campbell finished first out of 250 runners at the Disney Classic in Orlando, Florida this past weekend and finished with an impressive 5k time of 17:44.46.
The women's team came out victorious winning the competition with 33 points out of 29 teams that competed. Malone posted a 1-5-8-9-10 finish as
Mattison Rankin finished fifth (18:22.67),
Madison Schuler in eighth (18:29.30),
Sarah Meek in ninth (18:30.06) and
Mackie Keller in 10
th (18:30.80).
Earlier this month, Campbell finished second out of 503 runners at the All-Ohio Championships that were held in Cedarville, OH. She finished the 6k run with a time of 21:53.39.
Malone will next compete in the Southern Indiana Regional Preview on Saturday, October 25th in Evansville, Indiana.
