Tenequa Martin. Coach Martin is entering her second year of coaching at Malone.

What is your favorite coaching memory at Malone?-I am just in my second year so I hope to make a lot more memories but as of now it would be picking up my very first win on my birthday. The team made that a very special day and even presented me with one of the game balls afterwards.

Where did you grow up?-I grew up in Taylor, Arkansas. A small town in Southwest Arkansas with a little less than 600 people.

What sports did you play in school (high school and/or college)?-I played basketball and softball in high school and just softball in college.

What's your most embarrassing memory (as a coach at Malone or in general)?-I am extremely clumsy so there are several to choose from, but if I have to choose it would be tripping and falling in front of hundreds of people at the Women's College World Series. My niece was with me and was only around 9 at the time and she was so embarrassed that she just kept walking and pretended not to know me.

What's your favorite professional sports team(s)?-I am not a big follower of professional sports but if I had to pick one it would be the Dallas Cowboys.

What's your favorite restaurant in the area?-Carrabba's Italian Grill

What's your favorite hobby or activity outside of coaching?-Traveling and Reading – I love seeing new things and places and I love to throw myself into a good book
