All-Time Series
The Pioneers and Falcons have met just once prior with BGSU claiming victory in 1980.

Malone Notes - Roster | Schedule | Stats
  • The Pioneers are coming off an exciting trip to NYC in which they defeated 9-1 Caldwell 79-73 before erupting for a season-high 86 points in a win over Nyack. They enter their meeting with Bowling Green having won six of the last seven.
  • Malone will be playing its third Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponent in the past two seasons. Last season, Malone lost to Kent State before falling to Akron earlier this year.
  • Despite Malone not playing Bowling Green since 1980, Pioneer senior forward Hannah McCue will be playing Bowling Green for the seventh time in her career as she faced the Falcons six times while playing for DI Miami (OH). McCue led the Redhawks to a win in her most recent matchup with BGSU in the 2014-15 season, scoring 14 points while pulling down 10 rebounds.
  • Those numbers marked McCue's sixth and final double-double (in 89 games) as a Division I player. She has already matched that total with six double-doubles in 10 games at Malone. McCue leads the team in scoring (14.4 ppg), rebounding, (9.8 rpg), total steals (23),and total blocks (14).
  • Junior forward Baylen Dyrlund, who recorded her second double-double of the year with 21 points and 13 rebounds in the win over Nyack, will counted on to play a key role against a much taller and longer BGSU squad. Dyrlund shined against DI Akron earlier this season, scoring 20 points and hauling in 13 rebounds.
  • Senior point guard Rachel Goddard, who ranks third in the nation with a 4.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, has raised her scoring average to 14.2 points per game while still dishing out 5.2 dimes per contest. The reigning G-MAC Athlete of the Week scored 47 points over the last two games, including an outstanding 29-point performance at Caldwell.
  • Starting guards Chrissie Vaughan and Alaina Schwarz have been fantastic from long range this season, combining for 32 made three-pointers. Over the last nine games, Vaughan is shooting 46.8% (22-47) from downtown. Over the past four, Schwarz has made 47.0% (8-17) of her deep balls
  • As a team, Malone ranks 9th in DII with 9.2 made three-pointers per game. The Pioneers have hoisted up at least 21 threes in all 10 games this season
  • Dating back to the beginning of last season, Malone has taken at least 20 threes in 32 of the last 37 games.

Bowling Green Notes - Roster | Schedule | Stats
  • The Falcons will be playing their third Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent this season, having already defeated Davis & Elkins and Ohio Valley by a combined 63 points earlier in the campaign.
  • Bowling Green is just 2-7 in its nine other games, with the two wins coming against teams with a 1-10 combined record.
  • BGSU is one of the poorer shooting teams in Division I, ranking 308th (out of 349 teams) with a 34.8% field goal rate while also having a tendency to turn the ball over (18.8 tpg). They are, however, one of the better rebounding teams, averaging 43.3 boards a night and outrebounding opponents by a +6.5 margin.
  • In their most recent game, a 64-56 loss to Cleveland State last Wednesday, the Falcons totaled 46 rebounds, but shot just 30.0% (18-60) from the field.
  • Carly Santoro, who collected a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds in that game, is the team's leading scorer with 12.8 points per night.
  • Sharpshooting guard Sydney Lambert is second on the team in scoring (8.9 ppg). She leads the squad in assists (27), steals (14), and made three-pointers (23).
  • 6' 2" Senior center Abby Siefker (7.9 ppg) is the only regular to shoot better than 40% from the field (49.2%). She leads the Falcons in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and total blocks (10). She is also one of six six-footers on the Bowling Green roster.
