Ryan Roush competed in the 10,000 meters at the Mt. San Antonio College Relays in Walnut, California late Thursday night.
The senior from Canfield, Ohio (South Range H.S.) finished second in his heat and 15th overall, besting his own personal-best by nearly a minute with a time of 29:25.69.
The performance provisionally qualifies Roush for the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships and ranks as the third-fastest 10,000 meter time in school history.

Hannah Campbell will represent the women's squad at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday evening by competing in the 5000 meters.
