Pioneer Spotlight: This week's "Get to know the Malone Athletic Staff" segment features men's soccer head coach, Brian Stock. Coach Stock has been coaching at Malone for three years.

What is your favorite coaching memory at Malone?
-Defeating nationally ranked Notre Dame (OH) at home on Senior Day in 2012
 
Where did you grow up?
-Born and raised in North Canton, OH 

What sports did you play in school (high school and/or college)?
-Soccer only
 
What's your most embarrassing memory (as a coach at Malone or in general)?
-On a road trip in Illinois (prior to Malone), we were travelling in three vans. My van was the only one to make it through a stoplight, so I pulled off the road and up onto the sidewalk to wait for the others. Two police cars stopped behind me, full lights and sirens, to see why a van was stopped on the sidewalk. They eventually did understand but it was at the cost of being a public spectacle. 

What is your favorite dessert?
-Tiramisu 

What's the greatest accomplishment you have achieved at Malone?
-Qualifying for the GLIAC tournament in our first official Division II season

What's your favorite Bible verse?
-Joshua 1:9 

What's your favorite professional sports team(s)?
-Liverpool FC, Real Salt Lake 

What's your favorite restaurant in the area? 
-Rockne's

What's your favorite hobby or activity outside of coaching?
-Cycling
